Route simulation of volcanic pyroclastic flow

Semeru Volcano eruptions have been caused serious damages.
Especially, it had casualties due to gas and rocks of the volcanic eruption (pyroclastic flow) in 1994. The route prediction of the pyroclastic flow shall be studied.
AW3D made it possible to simulate the pyroclastic flow based on the various scenarios. The prediction of a falling-range of the pyroclastic flow and its simulated arrival time has been conducted. The prediction results will be utilized for disaster prevention measures of surrounding municipals.
