Efficient mineral exploration in remote location such as the Andes (South America) is very challenging task. The data combination of AW3D and other satellite imageries makes it possible to plan the mineral exploration in the early stage efficiently, including selection of potential areas and planning of the detailed investigation. It proved to be effective and time-saving.
The data also contributed to the drilling site selections for the next development stage.
